You Can Make A Change
Bring Wikie and Keijo Home to the Sea
Wikie and her son Keijo have spent their entire lives behind the walls of captivity — never feeling the open ocean, never free to swim beyond the confines of a tank. They were born into a life they never chose.
But a new life is waiting.
A sea sanctuary in Nova Scotia stands ready to welcome them — a place of peace, not performance. No more shows. No more concrete walls. Just ocean currents, open skies, and the dignity of freedom.
They need us to get there.
♡ ︎ Sign the petition.
♡ ︎ Raise your voice.
♡ ︎ Be part of the rescue.
Wikie and Keijo can’t ask for our help — but we can still give it. Help us give them the life they deserve.
Let’s bring them home.
Our Mission
The Be There Project exists to bring truth, grace, and restoration to captive orcas like Wikie and Keijo.
We fight for family, for freedom, and for the ones who were never given a choice.
Rooted in faith, storytelling, and remembrance, we advocate for their transfer to a natural sea sanctuary—offering dignity, healing, and a life beyond the tank.
Through compassionate truth and bold love, we are here to say:
You are seen. You are loved. We will be there.
Restoring freedom. Rewriting endings.
Answering the call to be there.
